A plain weave, crisp type of pure silk fabric with a highly-lustrous surface, giving off a beautiful iridescent sheen. It is popular in formal wear, but it is suitable for upholstery, curtains, table runners, cloths and more. An underlining should be used to protect the fabric from sunlight, if using in a drapery application. Silk Dupioni has an advantage over other silks, in that it tends to resist wrinkles. Available in many colors.
