A nice alternative to burlap and much softer. This fabric has a loose weave and is particularly transparent with a lattice pattern and grid formation. It works well for light window treatments, as it offers a bit of privacy, while still allowing light to shine through. It works well for many projects, including as theater gauze for backdrops.
